NEW! Piper Make Base Station is base kit for all Piper Make products. This kit includes the Raspberry Pi microcontroller which serves as the brains of all Piper Make Missions you’ll find on our free, drag-and-drop coding platform. Piper Make is designed to work with Chromebooks, or any other computer using a Chrome browser – just connect to your computer using the included cable.

The Base Station is a unique concept that students may build using the included blueprint, wood and brass hardware.  Parts may be stored inside the Base Station and the top section with the Raspberry Pi Pico may stored facing up or facing down inside the Base Station for added protection.  

With the Piper Make Base Station you can also get add-ons like a Controller, Walker, Rover, Hear Rate Sensor, Solar House and more! The Base Station is REQUIRED as the base for these add-ons.

Make Spare Parts Features:

The Piper Make Spare Parts Kit will support implementation of 20 Piper Make Starter Kits.  The Spare Parts Kit includes items that may get lost over time in a classroom or camp environment.

Curriculum or Lesson Plans:

With the Base Station, you will be able to access free 10 self-guided coding lessons on Piper Make – from blinking an LED to making music with resistors. As you help Piperbot and Pip explore Mars in our storyline, you’ll learn computational thinking, basic circuitry, and so much more.
